Abstract
The ground state rotational spectrum of isobutane has been measured in selected microwave, millimeter-wave, and submillimeter-wave regions. Accurate rotational and centrifugal distortion constants up to the sex tic terms have been derived from its analysis. For high-J values, the splitting of the \K\ = 3 transitions has been observed. A J dependence of the h(3) splitting parameter has been pointed out. (C) 1997 Academ ic Press.
