The measurements of the ratio of transverse diffusion coefficient to m
obility (D/mu), the ratio of longitudinal diffusion coefficient to mob
ility (D-L/mu) and of the drift velocities (W) for electrons in carbon
monoxide are presented. The coefficients D/mu and D-L/mu have been de
termined by applying the Townsend-Huxley method, at an ambient tempera
ture and for the reduced electric fields 50 less than or equal to E/N
less than or equal to 2500 Td and 50 less than or equal to E/N less th
an or equal to 1750 Td, respectively. The drift velocities were obtain
ed between 0.1 Td and 150 Td by applying the Bradbury-Nielsen techniqu
e in the Blevin Hasan version.
