A theoretical study based on a new foam-flow model in which the viscou
s effect occurring in the flow of a foam is taken into account is pres
ented. It is found that the deformation of foam bubbles gives rise to
interface stresses. The values of components of the strain and interfa
ce-stress tensors are obtained. A relation between the flow rate of a
foam and its rheological and structural parameters with regard to the
redistribution of the liquid-phase body over the channel section is pr
oposed.
