Abstract
The chloroform extract of Erigeron linifolius afforded two novel acety lated pinene glucosides. Their structures were elucidated by 1D and 2D NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The relative stereo chemistry of the glucosides was established by a combination of coupli ng constant analyses and NOESY. The glucosides showed high antimutagen ic and low antimicrobial activities.
