Ad. Polyanin et Av. Vyazmin, COMPLICATED MASS AND HEAT-TRANSFER BETWEEN PARTICLES, DROPS, AND BUBBLES AND A FLOW, Theoretical foundations of chemical engineering, 30(6), 1996, pp. 542-550
A brief review and several new approximate analytical solutions to ins
ide and outside problems for complicated mass and heat transfer betwee
n particles, drops, and bubbles and a laminar flow at different values
of Peclet and Reynolds numbers are given. The complicating factors un
der consideration are the concentration dependence of diffusivity, the
presence of homogeneous and heterogeneous chemical reactions, and the
hindered flow around the particles. The accuracy of some of the appro
ximate solutions relative to the available exact solutions is estimate
