Abstract
Novel chiral [1,2,3,-tetra(methoxycarbonyl)cyclopentadien-5-yl] ylides and their gold(1) and mercury(II) complexes have been prepared and th eir structures studied using X-ray crystal analysis and H-1 and C-13 N MR spectroscopy.
