Abstract
A new method using a mathematical model of the single-parameter diffus ion type to predict multiple steady-state operations for an adiabatic reactor is proposed. General equations of reactor stoichiometry are de rived for this model with Danckwerts' boundary conditions. Algorithms for predicting multiple steady states in reactor models are reported. The algorithm efficiency is illustrated by specific examples.
