Abstract
Hypergammaglobulinemic purpura (HP) of Waldenstrom is a rare relapsing purpura characterized by hypergammaglobulinemia, elevated ESR, mild a nemia and high levels of rheumatoid factor. We describe a child affect ed by HP and recurrent salmonelloses. The implications of this associa tion are discussed.
