Abstract
Apolipoprotein B metabolism can be investigated in-vivo either by exog enous radiolabeling of preformed lipoproteins or by endogenous labelli ng of denovo synthesized apo B using a stable isotope substituted amin o acid tracer. The potential of both methods and results obtained by i n-vivo studies in genetically determined dys- or hyperlipidaemic subje cts will be discussed.
