S. Boonkerd et al., USE OF CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF VITAMINS OFTHE B-GROUP IN PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATIONS, Journal of chromatography, 670(1-2), 1994, pp. 209-214
The separation of four water-soluble vitamins, i.e., thiamine, ribofla
vine, pyridoxine and nicotinamide, was investigated by capillary zone
electrophoresis and micellar electrokinetic chromatography. The useful
ness of the internal standard technique in order to improve the precis
ion of peak area when either the migration time or the injection volum
e varied was demonstrated. Quantitative analyses of different pharmace
utical formulations were compared with the LC method of the US Pharmac
opeia. A good correlation was obtained.
