Abstract
Platelet activation and thrombosis play a crucial role in cardiovascul ar diseases. It has been suggested that enhanced platelet function in vivo are present in the elderly and that they are associated with the development of these diseases [1-3]. In the present study, we addresse d the question of whether platelet arachidonate metabolism was altered with aging. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd.
