Abstract
Across their entire lifecycle of construction and continued operation, NTT's buildings that support the provisioning of telecommunications s ervices, have a direct and large-scale impact on global environmental issues, including depletion of ozone layer, global warming, and the pr oliferation of waste. This article provides an overview of recent tech nological efforts to reduce these three primary aspects of environment al degradation.
