Abstract
The channels and probability of collisional reactions between two C-60 molecules are studied using a molecular dynamics simulation method. F or two C-60 molecules colliding at fixed impact parameters, the reacti on channels and the threshold energies of the reactions are sensitivel y dependent on the collision orientation between the colliding partner s. The stable structures and the defects of the collision products are also studied using a Langevin molecular dynamics scheme.
