Abstract
The chloromethylation reaction of polysulfone and the amination reacti on with 4,4'-bipyridyl or some monoquaternized derivatives of this in order to obtain polysulfone with viologen groups were analyzed. A kine tic study of amination reaction of a chloromethylated polysulfone with 4,4'-bipyridyl and N benzylbipyridinium chloride in dimethylsulfoxide is also reported.
