Abstract
The sources of systematic and random errors of a dynamic fiber-optic g yrocompass have been studied theoretically and experimentally. The min imum possible error of determining the azimuth for the fiber-optic gyr oscope used in the gyrocompass was estimated as 0.2 degrees, and the e xperimentally measured value was 0.6 degrees.
