Abstract
We report on the temperature dependence of the cyclotron resonance in naturally grown Cu2O crystals. It is found that the temperature variat ion of the linewidths for both electrons and holes are well described by the sum of a temperature-independent term and one proportional to T -3/2. From this experiment we deduce deformation-potential constants o f D-e=2.4 eV for electrons and D-h=2.2 eV for holes.
