Abstract
The diffraction of a spherical electromagnetic wave by a perfectly con ducting half plane embedded in a homogeneous biisotropic medium is con sidered. This is important because the point sources are regarded as r easonable substitutes for real sources. The diffracted far field is ca lculated using integral transforms and the asymptotic methods.
