Abstract
Communication: New insights into the mechanism of chain growth and pha se formation in electropolymerization are expected from the work on ul trathin films described here. The Figure shows that the very rapid ele ctrochemical polymerization of a thiophene derivative that occurs insi de a multilayered assembly of a cellulose derivative on an electrode c an be used as the basis of an imaging process.
