Abstract
Barrerite, considered to be the rarest zeolite of the stilbite group, is abundant in the basalt of the Kuiu-Etolin Formation on Kuiu and kup reanof islands in southeastern Alaska. Several other sodium-rich zeoli tes are present in the tidal belt, including previously unreported mon oclinic sodian stilbite and sodian epistilbite.
