Abstract
An investigation was made of the conditions for optimisation of passiv e negative feedback with GaAs plates acting as feedback elements in pi cosecond pulse generation, A long (1 mu s) train of pulses (tau = 13 p s) was generated in an Nd:YAG laser, A study was made of the influence of self-defocusing of picosecond pulses in the course of two-photon a bsorption in GaAs on the evolution of the time and energy parameters o f the laser radiation.
