Abstract
Laparoscopic oophoropexy may prevent recurrent (repeat torsion of the same ovary) or sequential (subsequent torsion of the contralateral ova ry) ovarian torsion. Two adolescent girls with sequential ovarian tors ion underwent laparoscopic plication of urero-ovarian ligaments. Neith er patient has had recurrence in the 6.5 and 2 years, respectively, si nce surgery.
