Abstract
The planetary nebula (PN) candidate DHW 1-2 was found to be mistaken f or the object K2-8. On the Palomar Observatory Sky Survey DHW 2 shows a strange morphologyand is accompanied by a strikingly blue star. We o btained both a spectrum and deep direct images in H alpha + [NII] and [OIII] that prove DHW 1-2 to be a peculiar pranetary nebula in its lat er stages of evolution.
