LAPAROSCOPIC REMOVAL OF URACHAL SINUS

Disorders of urachal origin are rarely encountered in adults. Traditio nal treatment consists of a classic laparotomy and total excision of t he urachal structure. We report a case of laparoscopic urachal sinus r emoval that was performed synchronously with laparoscopic cholecystect omy and ovarian cyst excision. We confirm that the laparoscopic techni que can be effectively applied for the diagnosis and treatment of urac hal anomalies.
