Rheological properties of solutions of acrylonitrile copolymers used f
or the preparation of membranes were studied. Thermodynamic parameters
for the viscous flow of these solutions were calculated. The dimensio
ns and concentration of supermolecular particles were determined by me
asuring the turbidity spectra of solutions. No explicit correlation be
tween the theological properties of solutions and the performance of m
embranes prepared from those solutions was observed, Formation of high
ly permeable porous structures as a result of phase separation of the
solutions of acrylonitrile copolymers and cellulose acetate was relate
d to the existence in these solutions of supermolecular particles whos
e size is commensurable with the pore size of ultrafiltration membrane
s.
