Abstract
We compare numerical results of thermal photon distribution from hot Q CD matter produced by high energy nuclear collisions, based on a hydro dynamical model, with recent experimental data obtained by CERN WA80. Using the asymptotic value of the slope parameter of the transverse mo mentum distribution, we discuss the characteristic temperature of the QCD fluid.
