Abstract
A rainwater quality model based on a scavenging coefficient parameteri zed with rainfall intensity and calibrated on sequential sampling data has been developed. The model can predict ratio to maximum concentrat ion for different species during events at each rainfall amount step. Once calibrated, this model needs as input simple hydrological data, n amely instantaneous rainfall intensity and cumulative rainfall depth. These limited and easily available data make it particularly suitable for stormwater control purposes.
