Abstract
The article discusses the relation between activity (as well as select ivity) of catalytical systems of electrophylic reactions and the measu re (degree) of their acidic strength. The efficiency of catalysts in d ifferent types of electrophylic reaction (degradation of polymers, pol ymerization of olefines, alkilation of phenoles, etc.) depend on the u niversal index of acidity, size of the charge on hydrogenation in H2O complexes and metal chlorides, and parameters of relative acidity.
