Abstract
The solid phase synthesis of beta-peptides and beta-amino acid contain ing peptides via Arndt-Eistert homologation of Fmoc-protected amino ac id diazoketones is described. Syntheses were carried out on Wang, Rink and 2-chlorotrityl resins. Quantitative coupling efficiency gave high ly pure compounds as proven by RP-HPLC and MS. (C) 1997 Elsevier Scien ce Ltd.
