Abstract
This article reviews the principles and techniques of reconstructing s oft-tissue defects of the neck. The various surgical techniques, inclu ding local rotational flaps, tissue expansion, and free tissue transfe r, are reviewed, and considerations in the selection of surgical techn iques are discussed.
