Abstract
The cited paper (Solid State Ionics, Vol. 62 (1993) 273-277) on the pe rformance and the results of Hebb-Wagner polarized cell measurements o n Na-beta-alumina reveals certain misunderstandings as to the fundamen tals of the used method. Since this to some extent influences the obta ined results and their interpretation, the questionable topics will cr itically be discussed in the following.
