Abstract
We present here the first Al-27 Na-23, F-19 NMR results near the liqui d phase of cryolite, Na3AlF6, recorded with a high temperature laser h eating system. We developed a sealed and chemically inert crucible to study this very corrosive and volatile molten salt. Evolution of chemi cal shift and relaxation time enable us to observe structural and dyna mic changes at the solid/liquid transition.
