Abstract
Bulk Fe/Ag multilayers with layer thickness of about 10 nm have been s uccessfully fabricated by repeated press-rolling directly from a macro scopic stack of metal sheets. The press-rolled multilayers exhibited g iant magnetoresistance of 13% in the current perpendicular to the plan e geometry and 4% in the current in the plane geometry at 5 K.
