Fm. Rijli et P. Chambon, GENETIC INTERACTIONS OF HOX GENES IN LIMB DEVELOPMENT - LEARNING FROMCOMPOUND MUTANTS, Current opinion in genetics & development, 7(4), 1997, pp. 481-487
The recent generation of mice harboring multiple mutations in Hox gene
s has highlighted the role of these genes in controlling growth and pa
tterning of the limb bud. Tt le study of the phenotypes has not only r
evealed a complex network of genetic interactions among paralogous and
non-paralogous Abdominal-B-related Hox genes but has also refined our
understanding of their function.
