Abstract
The synthesis of (E)-N-(3-iodoprop-2-enyl)-2 beta-carbomethoxy-3 beta- (3', 4'-dichiorophenyl) nortropane (beta-CDIT) and its radioiodinated analogues is described. Three different synthetic methods are reported for the preparation of (E)-N-[3-(tributylstannyl)-2-enyl]-2 beta carb omethoxy-3 beta-(3', 4'-dichlorophenyl) nortropane, which was iododest annylated for the preparation of the corresponding iodinated derivativ e. We also report the radiolabelling of beta-CDIT with I-125 Or I-123 that could be used for in vitro and in vivo exploration of the dopamin e transporter.
