The synkinematic calc-alkaline rocks from Bandja, in the south-western
part of the Cameroon pan-african north-equatorial fold belt, show on
oblique sheets mechanism, which is genetically linked to the working o
f the Cameroon shear zone. This mechanism is discussed as part of the
shear zone models, which imply a mantle-crust interaction.
