Abstract
We herein report a very rare case of liver metastasis of malignant per itoneal mesothelioma occurring in a 47-year-old old woman, who had und ergone a right lobectomy of the liver, and is still alive and well mor e than 2 years after the initial surgery. There is little information on how to successfully treat liver metastasis of this disease. Since m esothelioma cells rarely respond to chemotherapy cr radiation, we conc lude that surgery plays an important role in the management of liver m etastasis of malignant peritoneal mesothelioma.
