Abstract
The 90 degrees domains in tetragonal barium titanate BaTiO3 have been observed with atomic force microscopy (AFM) under application of an el ectric field. The nucleation and growth of a wedge-shaped c-domain and the movement of the 90 degrees domain boundary were observed.
