Abstract
This report describes the diagnosis and surgical treatment of a true f emoral venous aneurysm. Its aetiology remains unknown. These lesions m ay be the source of pulmonary emboli and therefore prophylactic surger y is strongly recommended for patients with lower extremity deep venou s aneurysms.
