Abstract
A new ray representation of electromagnetic field inside a quasi - opt ical structure in the form of a circular hollow dielectric waveguide i s suggested and confirms the possibility for the unusual application o f such a waveguide as an off-beat microanechoic chamber for electromag netic modeling in the near millimeter and submillimeter wave regions.
