Abstract
The kinetics of complex catalytic reaction of A --> B --> C type proce eding in the presence of decaying catalyst in a batch reactor is discu ssed. Calculated model correlations between reactant conversions and r eaction time/total conversion were used to analyze n-pentane transform ation in the presence of solid superacid Al2O3-SbF5 catalyst.
