Abstract
The heat or mass transfer in a porous medium described by two heteroge neous periodic fields with different amplitudes is examined. It is sho wn that the averaged equations are of type other than microscopic equa tions. The totality of dual porosity media is nonuniform. It contains three classes with different averaged models and internal flow structu res.
