Yj. Zhang et al., THE EFFECTS OF VACUUM FLUCTUATIONS ON RHO-MESON MASSES IN HOT AND DENSE MATTER, Communications in Theoretical Physics, 28(2), 1997, pp. 195-200
Based on the thermo field dynamics, the temperature-and density-depend
ent effective mass and screening mass of rho meson in the vector-tense
r rho-meson-nucleon-nucleon coupling model have been calculated. The e
ffects of the vacuum fluctuation corrections through the effective nuc
leon mass are examined. We have shown that the vacuum fluctuation give
s an important correction to the self-energy of rho meson and leads to
a reduction of p-meson mass in hot and dense matter.
