Abstract
Mono-, bis-, and tris(tricarbonylchromium) complexes of triptycene wer e synthesized by the reaction of triptycene with Cr(CO)(6). The stereo chemistry of the true isomeric bimetallic complexes of C-s and C-2v sy mmetries was determined from the NMR spectra. X-ray structures of the bimetallic (C-s) and trimetallic complexes are presented.
