Abstract
The uniqueness of solutions for Cauchy problem of the form partial der ivative u/partial derivative t = Delta A (u) = (i=1)Sigma(N) partial d erivative b(i)(u)/partial derivative x(i) + c (u) is studied. It is pr oved that if u is an element of BVx and A(u) is strictly increasing, t he solution is unique.
