Abstract
Two novel triterpenoid saponins, Snatzkein A and B, were isolated from Arenaria filicaulis Boiss. One possesses an unusual 2'-O-hydroxyethyl ated glucose moiety, Their structure and conformational behaviour were investigated by one-and two-dimensional H-1 and H-13 NMR spectroscopy .
