Abstract
A sample of 222 male clergy within the Church in Wales completed the s hort form Revised Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, together with an index of charismatic experience. Contrary to theoretical expectations, charismatic experience was correlated negatively with neuroticism and positively with extraversion, but was unrelated to either psychoticis m or lie scale scores. The charismatic experience is associated with s table extraversion.
