The SO(10) model is a candidate for the unification of electromagnetic
, weak, and strong interactions. The range of the Z' mass is 495 GeV <
m(z') < 10(9) GeV. The formulas for the width and asymmetry for Z' de
cay depend only on the Z' mass. We apply the method of Boudjema et al.
to identify a theoretical origin of the Z' boson in SO(10) and compar
e with other models.
