Abstract
Biodegradation of selected chemical compounds was examined by a modifi ed river die-away test called TOC-HANDAI. This method enables site-spe cific estimations of the biodegradation of chemical compounds in river water. It also can be used in conjunction with other standard water q uality parameters to predict the degree of water pollution.
