Abstract
Combined administration of inhaled nitric oxide and beraprost sodium r esulted in a more intense decrease in pulmonary vascular resistance th an nitric oxide given alone (mean -33% vs -45%, p < 0.05), without ser ious systemic hypotension. Combined therapy with nitric oxide and bera prost sodium is highly desireable in treating primary and secondary pu lmonary hypertension in children.
