Abstract
Analysis of samples collected from anaerobic stabilization ponds treat ing farm animal wastes was carried out for a period of six months, in Cheshire College of Agriculture, UK. The study revealed that there is a positive correlation between catalase activity and other parameters like BOD, total bacteria and ammonia nitrogen in the effluent samples.
